The mechanism is secured to the rear of the door panel, the threaded male spindle passing through the appropriate through hole in the panel. The mechanism is fixed with 2x 3.5mm (No.6) countersunk screws.
The knob is pushed to engage and disengage the latch. When locked, the knob is designed to sit flush with the panel surface, making this the ideal solution for environments where nothing can protrude from the joinery surface.
